CVS Health
Anne Rafidi, PharmD
The student had this to say about Dr. Rafidi:
Anne was a wonderful preceptor. I learned so much in just six weeks. She made sure I had the opportunity to take on projects, speak and learn from a variety of team members, and challenged me to learn new skills. I appreciated how she was always open to questions and how she encouraged my curiosity. On this rotation, I learned about team and business management, and had a great example in Anne. She made sure I had every opportunity to practice and learn new skills, which I feel I will take with me on my next rotation.
Brief bio or Site description
I graduated from the University of Florida College of pharmacy in 2005. I have been with CVS Health for 26 years in all different roles ranging from pharmacy technician, pharmacy intern, pharmacy manager and now District Leader. I have the privilege of leading an extraordinary team of compassionate and dedicated pharmacists and technicians from 19 locations in the Orlando and greater Orlando area.
What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
My philosophy is rooted in creating an environment where excellent patient care is the path of least resistance. Overseeing 19 pharmacies has taught me that the best patient outcomes happen when teams feel supported and barriers are minimized. I focus on aligning resources, removing inefficiencies, and building strong communication so pharmacists and technicians can focus on what matters most — the patient. I see students as vital contributors to that mission, and I integrate them into patient care early, showing them how to think proactively, problem-solve, and deliver services with confidence.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
A fun fact about me is that I’ve recently taken up making custom pens for my teams — and if you’ve ever worked in a pharmacy, you know pens are basically gold! It’s a small creative outlet that’s turned into a fun way to show appreciation and keep morale high.
