Brian was hands down the best preceptor that I had during my rotations. He tested my clinical knowledge, allowed me to interact with patients and practice counseling skills, and allowed me to make a care plan for patients. He was always kind while making my rotation worth every second. This rotation proved to me that I want to pursue a career in Ambulatory care and having an amazing preceptor was a great example of the type of pharmacist I would like to be.

Bay Pines VA offers training opportunities to pharmacy students and residents at inpatient and outpatient sites.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
I started my career as a pharmacist at Bay Pines VA in 2003.
