Brief bio or Site description
Our site operates as a Community Pharmacy and a Compound Pharmacy for human and animal patients. We are located at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fl.
What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
Our goal is to provide a personalized educational experience that exposes students to all aspects of community pharmacy practice. We build upon each student’s current knowledge base while helping them develop new clinical, operational, and patient care skills. Through hands on learning and active participation in workflow, students gain the confidence and competence needed to succeed in any community pharmacy setting while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care and professional growth.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
We have a golf cart for deliveries to the World Equestrian Center barns, hotels, and Golden Ocala neighborhood.
