Murt

The preceptor had this to say about Chloe:

CIPPE

Chloe helped give several immunizations and also counseled our patients on what to expect in the days following. She was very patient and kind to my patients and her contributions were noticed right away by the team members and our patients. In just 4 short weeks Chloe was able to make a huge impression on us all and we will miss having her around.

What was your favorite part of this rotation?

My favorite part of this rotation was my preceptor and the techs I had the privilege of working with. They were so kind and patient while teaching me the ins and outs of community pharmacy at CVS. I had the absolute best experience on my CIPPE. I also loved the patients, working in my small hometown in Kentucky. I was able to give many shingles vaccines to the elderly population. They were so sweet and made me feel I was truly making a difference in my community.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?

Do all that you are able and experience everything you can while on rotations, much like a sponge. You will absorb so much knowledge and impact so many patients. Don’t be too nervous! You aren’t expected to know everything and are there to learn.

What are your plans after graduation?

I can’t say for certain, but my plan is to find a career in pharmacy that I love and feel I can make a big impact in patient lives.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love spending time with my dog, Dixie, and horse, Highfive, in my free time.
