Brief bio or Site description
Dr. Alpizar has been practicing for eight years and precepting students for seven. His commitment to giving back to the profession through teaching was instilled in him during his time as a student in APPEs. His very first preceptor was a thoughtful mentor who brought out the best in others and believed in each learner’s ability to grow and reach their full potential. That philosophy created a supportive learning environment; one where students could absorb knowledge and apply it meaningfully in practice. Dr. Alpizar carries that same philosophy into every rotation he leads, whether he’s working with students, residents, or fellow colleagues. He believes in cultivating a space where learners feel empowered, challenged, and supported.
