Ambulatory Care
Erwin has been able to complete rounding with doctors and help patient’s in acquiring their medications. Help the medical residents with presentations and helped with patients drug utilization.
What was your favorite part of this rotation?
My favorite part was creating presentations for the coumadin patients, they were very adherent to their medication regimen and asked great questions.
What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?
Take every opportunity you are given, I was asked if I wanted to be part of diabetic clinics, coumadin class, and resident rounds. I had doubts if I would be able to manage all these projects, but everything went well, and it prepared me for my other rotations.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to pursue a PGY1 residency in administration and leadership.
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m an adrenaline junky. Have gone skydiving multiple times.
