CVS Pharmacy – Corporate, Patient Safety & Quality – DUR
Hannah Praysman, PharmD
The student had this to say about Dr. Praysman:
My preceptor was amazing. She set clear expectations; provided ongoing feedback; always set aside time to meet and touch base with me; had clear communication; truly cared about my experience and tried to personalize it to best fit my strengths, weaknesses, and interests; and she took a genuine interest in getting to know me. I also enjoyed getting to see an area of pharmacy that is not talked about much in school (corporate for community pharmacy corporations). It was valuable to see the different roles that pharmacists can have in a corporate setting and all the behind the scenes that go into making sure CVS/community pharmacy chains are running efficiently and up to legal standards. I was able to network with many pharmacists across the US with this being a virtual rotation with such a large company (CVS). Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this rotation, and it has been one of my favorites.
