Brief bio or Site description
We are an outpatient pharmacy at Celebration Hospital. It is a 340 bed hospital with plans to double in size within the next 3 years! We also have a partnership with Disney and deliver prescriptions to Disney guests who are on vacation.
What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
We give our interns the tools and resources to interact with patients and healthcare providers. I encourage the interns to spent as much time for these interactions. We believe in hands on training and a collaborative effort amongst all hospital departments.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
A few UF pharmacy grads who were once interns on rotation at our site now work as residents/pharmacists!
