He has an extensive knowledge of medications and disease states and promotes life-long learning for students even after school. Dr. Henson treated me like a healthcare professional and was very flexible and accommodating when needed. Very grateful to have had 6 weeks to learn under him during my community rotation.“

What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
I believe in getting our interns ready to become pharmacist. I do my best to make sure that they are getting out of the mindset of being an intern and into the mindset of being a pharmacist.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
I ensure that interns get hands on training with all roles in the pharmacy including assisting the pharmacists with final verification of prescriptions.
