AdventHealth Winter Garden
Jacqueline Espinoza Ramirez, PharmD, BCPS
The student had this to say about Dr. Espinoza Ramirez:
I want to recognize my preceptor, Jackie, for making my HIPPE experience truly amazing. She went above and beyond to tailor my rotation to align with my interests and background, which made every day meaningful and engaging. Everyone at AdventHealth Winter Garden was welcoming, insightful, and eager to teach. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a dedicated team, and I hope our paths cross again in the future.
The preceptor was very helpful in learning the basics and necessities of what to get out of a HIPPE. Another main thing is that the pharmacy as a whole facilitated a healthy and welcoming experience allowing students to have a well developed understanding of both the tech and pharamacists roles and how important both parties are within a hospital pharmacy.

What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
My philosophy is to create a supportive and engaging environment for my students to foster their skills. As a preceptor, I strive to provide meaningful experiences for all my students by tailoring their rotation to their interests and career goals while also providing them the opportunity to explore new areas of pharmacy that they may have not known about previously.
