Her interactions with diverse patient populations stands out as true healthcare professional.”
What was your favorite part of this rotation?
My favorite part of this rotation was the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients and help them in navigating their healthcare decisions. During my time at Bell Pharmacy, I frequently heard patients express their gratitude for the pharmacy team’s exceptional care and dedication. I am thankful to have been part of such a collaborative environment, which provided me with valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of patient care.
What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?
A google calendar is your best friend during rotations! It helped me stay organized and on top of deadlines. Big or small, every event or simple to do reminder is on my calendar.
What are your plans after graduation?
My plans following graduation are centered on providing services to underserved communities, whether through a role in an independent community pharmacy or in a setting that fosters strong patient relationships, such as ambulatory care. I am actively exploring various opportunities that will allow me to achieve this goal.
What is a fun fact about you?
I learned and performed in-vitro fertilization of sea urchins here at UF in undergrad!
