Sarasota Memorial Hospital
Kimberly Tran, PharmD, BCEMP
The student had this to say about Dr. Tran:
“My precKim has taken the past 6 weeks to take someone with limited experience in the emergency room and find areas of growth for me as a student to work on each and every day. From day 1, Kim made an effort to establish a baseline of where my knowledge was at and work with me to grasp new bits of knowledge no matter the topic. Everyday Kim was able to challenge me with new topics and skills to become more proficient in dosages, antibiotics for all types of bugs and how to prep and help administer medications in various codes, traumas and procedures! Kim always had an amazing attitude and checked in with me regularly to make sure I was staying on top of assignments, projects and that there was enough time for everything. I have found a true passion for emergency medicine and cannot thank Kim enough for the role she played in it! Being her first APPE student was an amazing experience and that is why I am nominating her for this award! Thank you Kim!eptor and the many different professionals at my site were very welcoming and enthusiastic in working with students. They gave us many opportunities for us to learn and to apply our clinical knowledge.”
