The preceptor had this to say about Lara:
Emergency Medicine
Lara routinely went above and beyond what I expected on rotation. She prepared additional topic discussion materials beyond what was requested and moved her journal club presentation to an earlier date, decreasing her preparation time but allowing for increased attendance by subject matter experts (knowing that they would ask challenging questions). For her final topic discussion, she had her choice of topics and selected the most challenging one as she expressed a desire to learn as much as possible. At every turn of the rotation, she found new ways to show her passion for pharmacy, her desire to learn, and her dedication to patient care. If all of my learners had Lara’s drive, I would be in preceptor heaven.
