What was your favorite part of this rotation?
My favorite part of this rotation was applying the knowledge I learned in class, working with a welcoming staff that included the pharmacists, pharmacy technician, store manager, and interacting with patients by providing recommendations. Each task gave me more confidence and encouraged me to take initiative in my daily responsibilities.
What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?
I recommend that pharmacy students not be afraid to ask questions, take the time to learn every aspect of the site, including workflow and administration. Have confidence in your knowledge while also relying on your preceptor to help clarify any uncertainties along the way.
What are your plans after graduation?
I look forward to pursuing more clinical experiences to determine if that is the career path I want to follow.
