Marsha Keller

The preceptor had this to say about Marsha:

Ambulatory Care
Marsha implemented high-level interventional medication quality improvements for each assigned clinic patient. She provided background disease state information about the patient that led to appropriate recommendations for medication management. Marsha Keller added tangible value to each clinic team as a solid well-prepared pharmacy practitioner.

What was your favorite part of this rotation?

I love how many different sites I was able to work in on this rotation (four different sites); everyday was something new. My favorite site was the Aging Clinic; I participated in case review each week and was able to make interventions on the geriatric patient’s medication regimen. It was inspiring to see several different specialists (geriatrician, psychologist, pharmacy, etc) come together to make health care decisions for each patient.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?

Be a self-starter! Don’t be afraid to get outside your comfort zone- you don’t grow in your comfort zone!

What are your plans after graduation?

Retail- I will be starting with Publix Super Markets

What is a fun fact about you?

“I am a non-traditional student; I have two boys, ages 9 and 6. When not on rotation, you can find me at the baseball field.”
