Brief bio or Site description
My pharmacy journey began as a pharmacy intern where I developed a strong appreciation for the important role pharmacists play in patient care. Over the years, I advanced through various leadership roles, gaining experience in both pharmacy operations and clinical services. Today, I serve as the Pharmacy Operations Manager at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where I work alongside an exceptional team dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is mentoring pharmacy students and helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice. I enjoy creating an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to ask questions, develop confidence, and grow professionally. Watching learners discover their strengths and evolve into competent healthcare professionals is truly one of the highlights of my role. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the development of future pharmacists while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.
What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
My philosophy on educating students is to create a supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, professional growth, and confidence. I believe students learn best through hands-on experiences, open communication, and meaningful mentorship. My goal is to help future pharmacists develop strong clinical knowledge, operational skills, and a patient-centered mindset that will prepare them for successful careers. In providing pharmacy services, our focus is on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals.
