style of pharmacist and she is very helpful. She could be easily utilized in many other care setting due to her ability to understand patients medications and I feel that it is a wasted opportunity that she is only in retail as I feel she could be great in direct patient care.

Walgreens Store 12317 is a community based pharmacy that services a diverse patient population. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient -cented care through prescription services, immunizations,medication therapy management and health education. As a site, we emphasize innovation, collaboration, and accessibility to ensure that a every patient receives the care that need in a timely and compassionate manner.
What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
Our philosophy centers on cultivating future pharmacists who are confident, compassionate, and adaptable. We believe students learn best by being hands-on. At our site students are encouraged to jump into patient care, problem-solving in real time. For our patients, we are committed to ensuring sate, efficient and personalized services that improve health outcomes and build trust within in our community.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
We love being part of community health events like flu clinics and health fairs. A fun fact is that students often get to be part of these events too, giving them a chance to see pharmacy’s impact beyond the counter!
