His passion for teaching was evident in the time he took to clearly explain concepts and tailor his approach to my learning style. He actively involved me in patient care decisions and encouraged my independence. His dedication to my education fostered a supportive environment where I was able to apply and strengthen my critical thinking skills. It was truly a privilege to learn from him and I hope all of my peers and future classmates a chance to experience what I got to as well.

What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
It has been an honor to coordinate education for pharmacy students during their experiential rotations. Part of ensuring that I can help provide valuable education is instilling the confidence in students and helping them expand on their foundational clinical knowledge. I stride to empower students to make the near transition from student pharmacist to pharmacist a successful one!
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
AdventHealth Apopka is unique in that we are a relatively small department but I think that is more of a strength as it fosters a strong bonds that is reflected in the care we provide.
