Academic Honors Projects

Students are required to complete an Academic Honors project in order to graduate with Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude and often reach out to preceptors to ask for an opportunity to complete a research project during their rotation or block experience.  Please note – students may not work on their honors project during their regularly scheduled APPE rotation hours unless they are completing a Research rotation.  A student’s academic honors project may not interfere with the learning requirements of their APPE rotation(s) and should be completed in addition to their scheduled rotation hours. Please see the Academic Honors and Student Publication website for more detailed information.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

Any written work published outside of the rotation site which includes a student name indicating he/she is a UF College of Pharmacy student must be submitted for review and approval by the College of Pharmacy to ensure all IRB rules and regulations have been met.  Examples include posters, journal articles and newsletters.
