The preceptor had this to say about Tara:

APPE Rotation at VA Medical Center-Gainesville

“Overall Performance: Tara performed excellently throughout her internal medicine rotation. She has a strong knowledge base, is confident, interacted very well with patients, and presented herself in a highly professional manner daily. She will be an excellent pharmacist and an asset to our profession.”

What was your favorite part of this rotation?

“Being able to learn about different types of surgery and what medications are required post-op as we do not get a lot of training in this area during our didactic years.”

What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?

“Go in with an open mind and be willing to learn as much as possible!”

What are your plans after graduation?

“PGY1 and then a PGY2 in oncology”

What is a fun fact about you?

“I played lacrosse for USC and now run marathons for fun!”
