The preceptor had this to say about Tiffany:
Infectious Disease
Tiffany was exceptional during her Infectious Diseases rotation. She arrived daily with a positive attitude, self-motivated to learn. While on rotation with me she completed a two medication use evaluations, worked to de-label beta lactam allergies to optimize antimicrobial treatment, and gave an excellent presentation to pharmacists. I am excited to see her growth during future rotations.
What was your favorite part of this rotation?
Optimizing vancomycin regimens for patients, speaking to patients about beta-lactam allergy de-labeling, and working on my medication use evaluation that I will be presenting at ASHP Midyear!
What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?
Always approach your rotations with an open mind and open heart, you never know what you might learn!
What are your plans after graduation?
Hopefully residency — I’ll be applying to PGY-1 residencies as I work towards my dream of becoming a clinical pediatric pharmacist.
What is a fun fact about you?
In my free time, I love traveling, going to festivals, shopping, playing video games, and doing arts & crafts!
