CVS Pharmacy
Vinesh Sookhan, Pharmacy Manager
The student had this to say about Dr. Sookhan:
“My preceptor always very attentive to everything that was going on in the pharmacy and at the same time made sure to explain everything he did. He showed me new and helpful immunization techniques that I will surely practice more. He always took the time to explain things thoroughly and address any misunderstandings or concerns.”

What is your or your sites philosophy on educating students and/or providing pharmacy services?
Students experience a non accelerated learning environment at this site feeling fully confident to work at a community setting.
What is a fun fact about you or the site?
My approach to student learning is to keep the student engaged and maintain central focus on the task at hand. Student success defines my success. I can comfortably facilitate small group activities, work with students individually in the pharmacy setting. My hope is to implement intended goals by being a positive and enthusiastic example and that my actions speak louder than words. The end goal is for the students to be knowledgeable and effective pharmacists. My personal growth plan includes continual reflection and improvement from student feedback, peer feedback, and graduate success.
