Critical Care at Moffitt Cancer Center

“Katie was very professional and displayed a high level of tact while interacting with our entire interdisciplinary team on a daily basis! She went above and beyond expectations in her work, provided an excellent in-service, and in general helped our team daily with sound drug information requests and patient care.“

What was your favorite part of this rotation?

My favorite part of this rotation was rounding daily with such a close-knit interdisciplinary team. The environment was incredibly supportive and encouraging, and their kindness made even the most challenging days genuinely enjoyable.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students preparing for rotations?

Take initiative by asking thoughtful questions and making the most of every opportunity presented to you. Rotations offer a unique chance to experience a wide range of pharmacy practice settings something you may not encounter again to this extent so stay engaged, be curious, and fully immerse yourself in each experience.

What are your plans after graduation?

I am planning to work for a specialty mail-order company!

What is a fun fact about you?

I went skydiving recently and loved it, but I hate rollercoasters.
